However, the direct relation of a nation on the path of development is not with how many young leaders it has, but with how many able and passionate leaders it has. So, young or old, what is more important is leaders with intelligence, courage and passion. Take these away and nothing else will help.
No, I'm not trying to refute anybody; in fact, I'm just emphasising the valid points that some of us have made. To have youngsters at the helm is indeed a reason to feel good about, but the twist is - as JLU referred to - all these youngsters are there not because of their passion or abilities, but because of their familial lineage. Ergo, it amounts to nothing.
We need young people, no doubt. But the 'motive' of their taking to politics is more important than being there just to make an attractive statistics.
