Ho to settle in Singapore

Hi, I am a software engineer working in wireless.. I have an ambition of working in Singapore..and setting down there itself.. Anybody knows about this? Anyone?? anyidea?? how to approach for this task? How to go there?? is it easy to settle down there?? How about the job opportunities...

Hi yaa you have good scope for that, but provided you have a permenant job in Hand!!!, and if you are there for a minimum period of 5 years you could get permenant residence permit in singapore,, the latest I am not sure.. you could check with the singapore high Commisssion....

here's a singapore permanent resident - who's moved digs to live in india :mrgreen:

. moving to singapore is easy if you've already gotten a job. settling there is even easier if your job pays decent dough (at least SGD5k+). if you're reasonably young, work in a growth sector with a stable company and show intent to settle there - they jump at the opportunity to try and snag you for good. if you don't meet their rather arbitary criteria of what "attractive" means though - you can't reason with them.
