Like you know by now :), fullhyd.com is being completely revamped. And we are writing about the city like never before.

Close to 1,000 places in the city are being profiled, and these include tourist attractions, monuments, youth hangouts, restaurants, pubs, various kinds of educational institutions, NGOs, hotels, shops, public places, and lots more.

We are looking for some gurus of town - people who know more stuff about Hyderabad and Secunderabad than they have business knowing :) - to join us as we launch a huge editorial initiative.

Each profile will be about 200 words long. We need people who can work on categories - for instance, you might choose to write about Sport Clubs in town. You will then write about the best 10 or 15 such clubs. You will need to be an enthusiast of what you choose to write about, even if you do not know all the places in that category. A regular pub-hopper, for instance, will choose to write about pubs, an art enthusiast about art galleries, and an avid theater fan about acting schools and clubs.

While you need to know the resources in town in your area of interest, you need to be good writer, too. fullhyd.com has for long been characterized by a distinctly brilliant style of writing, and you need to match those standards.

You will be paid decently, but more importantly, the profiles you write - and your name as its author - will be on the site for a long time, and lakhs of users over time will be benefited by what you\'ve written about a place. Plus, fullhyd.com has had the best writers in town always, and you will be in great company the moment your name appears here!

Even if you have basic writing talent, feel free to apply. _We\'ll_ make you write brilliantly :).

Here is a sample write-up, so you get an idea - this is on Skyline theater:

\"Skyline can easily appear the best movie theater in town, if your blood has ten times the legal alcohol limit. Or make that twenty.

Tucked away in a bylane of Basheerbagh, Skyline boasts of the best in equipment in all its daily DC movie page ads, and promises a great movie experience. If it\'s a big release and you\'re there on the opening weekend night, the experience starts with black marketeers right at the entrance doing the thees ka pachaas jig. The management is not aware of this happening, and is of course not involved. Also, I am Axl Rose.

Put this down to a standard Hyderabad cinema hall practice, and you\'ll hit more as you get in. A rickety peddlar of parking space charges Rs. 6 for your bike, but the slip he gives you says Rs. 5. You ask him how come, and he bullies you. _You_ bully him, and he\'s all \"Ek rupaya mein kya hai saab?\", with a smile so morbidly unctuous, you want an insta-quick barf bag. Seeing just how many people will pay a rupee more with some elementary misleading provides a fair indication of why you are in the wrong career. Really, why grudge poor Rickety Peddlar?

In all fairness, Skyline does have Dolby DTS, and it does use it. Half of that is true even of its A/C - it has it. The seats are capable of seating you, but if you want luxury and leg space, you should buy the theater and renovate it. The loos take what comes their way, and for SEI CMM Level 5 hygiene, you should hold on till you reach home.

The theater was set up in 1978, and usually screens the latest English releases. The crowds are actually good, though they\'re more the multiplex type, and with Prasad\'s as close to Skyline as it is, it is doubtful they\'ll continue.

In all, for those moments when you are too late to risk Sangeet or Prasad\'s.\"

Please let us know of your willingness to contribute by posting it on this board, and we will contact you through the email you gave us when you signed up. If you want us to contact you any other way, please post it here, or write to webmaster@fullhyd.com.

There is a person who works for Siasat Urdu Daily Paper. He regularly writes on almost all the localities of Hyderabad. He is like a specialist. I do not know his name, but I am sure if you call Siasat they will guide you to him.

I don\'t think I fit into this job \'cos I am not very good at writing. You have to find some other job for me.
