Domestic violence against Indian Women married to NRI's

There is increasing domestic violence faced by Indian women married to NRI's living in USA. Poeple are facinated by the groom working in USA and marry of their girl child to these people without knowig their true colors often endup with groom being sadist or self centered. There is no way for the parents to do any help to these unfortunate women as their child is in faroff country and they cannot travel for help. Is there anyway to help these unfortunate women? Are there any women organisations who can do the needful?. In many cases women endup sufferers neither receiving help from their parents nor from relatives because of the distance. Here laws are also too bad and are of no help in these situations. Unfortunately women are trapped and have no courage to complain against their husbands to police in US out of fear and it being foreign land. These women are more unfortunate than their counterparts in India. Please let me know if there are any help groups who can extend the necessary help if required by these people.
