Qualification for politicians

by hyderabadi » Fri Jun 21, 2002 12:30 am

hi guys, don\'t u think that there should be some basic standards for one to become MLA or MP. i think we should start with educational qualification. 1. they should be atleast graduates. 2.should have diploma in political sciences through recognised school or college. 3.no criminal background. secondly for those who aspiring for the post of finance ministry, external affair should have much higher qualification compare to rest. secondly even we should have age limitations. most of our senior leaders including pm and president are too old. they can\'t even walk steadly. so one should be below 58 and above 35 that makes good sense, they are going to be active and lively. not like former sleeping, sliperring PMs and Presidents. suggest ur views.

Hyderabadi, my answer to ur points
>1. they should be atleast graduates....\" how many graduates in India atleast know completely as to what subjects they have studied to attain there graduation....huh\"\"
> 2.should have diploma in political sciences through recognised school or college......
\"can you please give us the names of the most recognaized college for political science in India\"???

3.no criminal background.
\" Unfortunately in India there are a lot of criminals....i mean ppl with criminal attitude...\"

>>>secondly for those who aspiring for the post of finance ministry, external affair should have much higher qualification compare to rest.<<<<
A foreign minister or finance minister need not attain a economics PG from stanford....he has a lot of PA\'s who are highly competent, he should just encourage rt ideas given to him...\"\"

>>>>secondly even we should have age limitations. most of our senior leaders including pm and president are too old. they can\'t even walk steadly. so one should be below 58 and above 35 that makes good sense, they are going to be active and lively. not like former sleeping, sliperring PMs and Presidents.<<<<<

One should be a PM @ 35.....are u crazy, what sort of parliamentary exp does he have at that age, n do u think a nanive guy should represent our nation....grow up boy!!!!

>>>suggest ur views.<<<<

I can just say one needs to have a broader perception and knowledge to talk about these things.....

I give DAMN to politics and politicians. 95 % of the politicians(top to bottom) are linked with crime directly or indirectly. Most of them have criminal background..That is the worst section of any peaceful & progressive society.
Particularly in India & around the level of politics is damn cheap and low grade. You can expect same thing from a Ph.D politician & an \'Angootha Chaap\' criminal politician. Lt. Rajiv Gandhi was considered good in that age.

I don\'t know from which gener you are but what i was saying is its not good to critise always and in a way \"you are wrong!\" moreover, when you critise someone, you should expect the same in return.
