suggest some nice place for a holiday in india



neone been to leh or andanans or lakshwadeep ??
I'm not in favour of Senseless Windows Bashing.
However,I'm all for Bashing Windows Senseless.

Darjeeling, Ooty, Kerala, Khandala, Orissa. Those are the places that come to mind right now.

ooty, kerala, khandala orissa done



darjeeling is not very accessible

but a nice option
I'm not in favour of Senseless Windows Bashing.
However,I'm all for Bashing Windows Senseless.

Go For the Northern Side as Ranis Will be a Helluva PITA in the South at this Time of the Year.



Shimla,Kulu Manali,Ladakh,Chail, Are Nice Places that Come into Mind.

u know nething abt ladakh ?

i mean how many days will it take

that is for a non-adventure trip

and what abt the prices?

are they much diff from shimla/manali ?

Try Kufri in the north, heard a lot about the place but haven't been able to go there.



Was just thinking, what abt taking a 4-wheel drive Scorpio or Pajero(if i can lay my hands on one) on the Leh road? :D ;)
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

i have been to kufri

its a nice place

very close to shimla

but is good in winters coz of the snow

even a scorpio wont get u there

u have to go on a horse from the base village

the road from manali to leh is really good

but it is very scary at nights

the snow starts to melt in the evenings

the roads are all wet

and they get blocked sometimes

then u have to wait for the army trucks to come and clear the road

its a nice adventure tho

I Have been to Chail,Kufri,Shimla and adjoining Places But Did'nt Go To Ladakh :cry:



Heard that Sikkim,Gangtok & Kalimpong ( Hope i got the name Correct :? ) too are good at this time of the year.Anytime later than October is No Good.



And if you're of a Religious Bent of Mind,Maybe u can Try the Char-Dham or Whateva....
