Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

I was a member of the British Library way back in 1993-1994 when I was in B.Sc. All that was needed was a bonafide certificate from the Principal of my college.

Dear Hard Coder,

Round about the same period I became a POSTAL MEMBER of

British Library (a REGIONAL LIBRARY) of Chennai.

Some times later they closed the POSTAL MEMBERSHIP.

In those days i used to visit (once in a month) the Regional BRITISH LIBRARY in Chennai.

Hyderabad British Library is not a regional Library.

Anyway it is well maintained.

If we become a member of Any British Library In India, we can utilise any British Library in India for reading purposes.

But we can borrow only from OUR membership Library.

Hi Sri,

Here in the US, I am a member of the public libraries in all cities I've lived in.. My keychain has a bunch of library ID cards. I just joined the Montgomery Village Public Library. The ID card is a hologram and is the cutest so far. Oh, that reminds me I have to return the Salam Bombay DVD I borrowed last week.

Are you in Chennai or in Hyderabad now?

Dear Hard coder one way you are lucky,

You are in States.

Yesterday Morning I reached this simple and wonderful City by Charminar express in 2A Coach.

Yesterday morning I tried to make a picnic to Vikarabad and Ananthagiri temple.

But Alas my vehicle had starting trouble.

All picnic programme failed.

I am leaving Hyderabad shortly.

Hey Peeping Tom Sri,

You do a lot of pilgrimages? Many of your posts are about visiting temples. Your writeups are interesting :) You always seem to have problem with vehicles or missing the bus. Anyway, which hospital do you work in? When I was at the British Library in Hyd, I read a lot of the books in the Medicine section - the collection they have is really good. You should check them out sometime.
