1 more thing, how easy and expensive would it be to get an overnight car between Manali and Dharmsala? are there overnight busses on this route?

there are plenty of taxis n busses to Dharamsala from Shimla and Manali...but taxis are abt 20-30% cheaper in shimla than manali.

i suggest u go to shimla first and hire a taxi frm there to see all the places in the state. it wud be a good deal.

u can spend 2 days in shimla. there are gr8 places around shimla like naldhera, golf course, kufri, kasauli etc. evenings can be spent in the pedastrian only Mall road in Shimla.

Somebody was talking about Leh.



I beleive only in July and August the Road from Chandigarh/Shimla through Kulu Manali , ultimately to Leh city opens.



From New Delhi Direct flights are available to Leh City.



But If U go by flight, U will miss the Highest beutiful mountain passes through which the road goes.



The problem in road journey is wastage of time .



I think it takes 5 days from Chandigarh to Prestigeous Leh City.



Some of my friends have seen Zanskar Valley around Leh-Ladakh region.



If you plan properly you can visit the purest Aryan Village somewhere in Leh region.



Plenty of Ancient Traditional Bhuddhist Gompas are must to see.





I have a dream in my life.

I will definitely try to see these areas.
