According to a research study I saw on NGC or Discovery, Love is a psychiatric disease which typically lasts for 3 yrs. I think there is some truth in it. Has to do with the levels of neurotransmitters which act as mood elevators in the human brain.

Why only three years?? Love lasts, in one form or other, all ur life. And if u r talking of love between a girl and a boy, and if it IS LOVE, then I guess there is no time limit to it.

There have been several studies which differ in the conclusions. This study u saw seems to support the fact that love comes from brain and not heart.
