HYDERABAD: Audiences watching films in the five theatres of Prasads Imax were evacuated on Monday night after an anonymous caller claimed that a bomb was planted in a scooter parked in the cellar. After three hours of search of the entire premises, the police came to a conclusion that it was a hoax call.

Around 8 pm., the anonymous person made the phone call and said the bomb planted in the scooter would go off in about 30 minutes.

The theatre management immediately called the police and ensured that the audience left the complex. As no reason was given for evacuation, some audience entered into an argument with the staff questioning them why the screening of the films was suspended.

‘‘After we received the phone call, we showed slides on the screen requesting the audience to leave the premises immediately. We made the announcement over the public address system also. We did not give the reason fearing that it may lead to a stampede,’’ theatre general manager Silesh Kapadia said.

Most of the audience waited outside the complex expecting an announcement from the management that it would either refund the money or allow them for a show on Tuesday.

‘‘We are an eight member family. We spent Rs 1,200 to watch a film. The management has not stated anything so far whether we can watch the film on Tuesday on the same tickets,’’ said Dileep.

This is the third time that the complex received phone calls that bombs had been planted on its premises. On one occasion, the call proved to be a hoax. On other occasion, explosive material was found in a tiffin box.

looks like AR has got competition eh ;)
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Views: I was 25 mins late by the time I found the place. I thought, "Great, so much for a good first impression. Im so not getting hired". :(



BUT I WAS! Infact, Brian said I was great. Hmmm....I dont know what he meant by that, but yaayyy!!! Out of the 25 applicants who were short-listed, only 3 were hired. And Im one of them 8)

Views: I was 25 mins late by the time I found the place. I thought, "Great, so much for a good first impression. Im so not getting hired". :(

BUT I WAS! Infact, Brian said I was great. Hmmm....I dont know what he meant by that, but yaayyy!!! Out of the 25 applicants who were short-listed, only 3 were hired. And Im one of them 8)
